Our Stories: 2025 Living Our Values Award Winners

Each year, Con Edison recognizes employees who represent its core values by honoring them with a Living Our Values (LOV) Award. This year’s LOV Award winners are a well-rounded group who focus on safety, deliver operational excellence, provide exemplary customer service, do their work with integrity, represent the company in the community, and are unafraid to take new approaches to their jobs.

Dan FitzPatrick
Section Manager, E-Mobility, Distributed Resource Integration
Orange and Rockland Utilities

A leader in the electric-vehicle infrastructure space, FitzPatrick is a damage prevention expert with a strong commitment to safety. He led the push to create a risk algorithm that identifies potential vulnerabilities then helped to implement measures to prevent damage to Con Edison’s electric and gas systems. FitzPatrick also led the installation of nearly 700 electric-vehicle plugs while creating more efficient workflows and processes. He has been honored for his e-mobility and damage prevention work. FitzPatrick is also active in his community as an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, volunteering with local groups, and organizing blood donation and coat donation drives. He was named a 2024 40 Under 40 by the Irish Echo, which recognizes up-and-coming professionals in the Irish American community.

Jennifer Flynn
Department Manager, Benefits and Wellness, Employee Wellness Center
Con Edison of New York

Respected by her colleagues for her innovation and adaptability, Flynn has earned a reputation for fairness, empathy, and approachability. She introduced the concept of Lean in Circles to Con Edison and created an expo to bring more awareness for employee resource groups. Flynn has been an important advocate for diversity and inclusion at Con Edison and has also played a prominent role as a safety leader during her time as a member of the medical and rescue squad as well as working actively to create a culture of learning and awareness regarding safety. In her community, Flynn is active in mentorship at her alma maters, serves on the executive board of her local PTA, and has participated in numerous volunteering efforts. She was a 2021 40 Under 40 honoree by the Irish Echo.

Oluwatosin (Tosin) Jolaoso
Systems Manager, IT Work Management Solutions, BSD WMS Design Engineering
Con Edison of New York

A skilled problem-solver, Jolaoso has a knack for making things more efficient. She helped to develop the DOT Go Power App, which replaced a slower email-based permitting process. She is also dedicated to providing an excellent customer experience and has drawn praise for her efforts. In her role within Con Edison’s IT department, Jolaoso works closely with counterparts in Gas Operations and she has been hailed for her collaborative spirit, frequently assisting with technical and connectivity issues that arise. Jolaoso has also been recognized for promoting a culture of diversity and inclusion and is respected by her colleagues as someone who is sincere, fair, and transparent. In her community, she is active in mentorship programs, both within the company and at volunteer career events with BUILD and through Medgar Evers College.

Yen (Kristina) Le-Gallo
Clean Energy Project Lead, Thermal Energy Networks, CCEP Thermal Energy Networks
Con Edison of New York

Praised for her leadership qualities and interpersonal skills, Le-Gallo has consistently provided a plus-one customer experience—including her outreach efforts in the district energy and utility-thermal energy network spaces as well as personally assisting customers in navigating—and educating them on—financial assistance programs such as Con Edison’s Energy Affordability Program. She has also helped spearhead the creation of the arrears taskforce team to aid customers and was instrumental in the expansion of translating customer emails into additional languages (Chinese, Korean, and Russian). Le-Gallo also is active in her community, leading a drive to collect and donate clothing and toiletries to newly arrived asylum seekers.

Shaun Ramkishun
Section Manager, Asset Management, Maximo Center of Excellence
Con Edison of New York

With his consistent dedication to safety, Ramkishun played an important role in the planning and rollout of the Stuff That Kills You (STKY) program at Con Edison. He was also central in helping implement the CyberLock system that minimized operational errors, and he advocated for the use of drones for feeder fault inspections. Ramkishun was also a key figure in driving improvements to the Maximo asset management system. He has been recognized for helping reduce costs while boosting efficiency, and for his business acumen and strong work ethic. Ramkishun is active in his community, participating in a tutoring program at his Bronx church, serving as a mentor in the Summer Youth Employment Program, and volunteering at local soup kitchens and the Pelham Bay Park Forest Restoration program.

Charles Tienken
Administrative Assistant - Operations L1-2, Center of Excellence, Investigations and Claims
Con Edison of New York

Inspired by his background as a LGBTQ+-identifying Army veteran with a disability, Tienken consistently works on initiatives to celebrate diversity and create a more inclusive workplace. He serves as a board advisor for Con Edison’s LGBTQ+ ERG and helped lead the effort to have the company participate in the Stonewall 50 World Pride March. Tienken also has an unwavering commitment to safety and has led discussions and trained new hires on safety protocols. He has twice received internal awards for his contributions to working safely in the field. Tienken is adept at making workflows more efficient including creating a dataset that enhanced the accuracy of financial data. His strong sense of service is exemplified by his lifelong dedication to volunteer work, including assisting individuals who speak English as a second language with financial literacy.
