Time-Of-Use (TOU) With this rate, residential and business customers can pay less than the standard rate of electricity during certain times of the year.

Smart Energy Plan (SEP) With this plan, the delivery portion of your bill will be based on how efficiently you use the energy.

Steady Use Rate (SUR) This rate charges you based on how much energy you use at one time (kW) rather than your total electricity usage over time (kWh).

Electric Vehicle Time-Of-Use (EV-TOU) If you charge your electric vehicle at your residence, the charging cost will be based on the rate you currently pay for electric service.

Heat pump customers enrolling in Steady Use Rate or Time-of-Use Rate for the first time may qualify for a 1-year price guarantee.

To verify eligibility, please upload a clear photo of the label on your heat pump unit showing the make, model, and serial number. A photo of an indoor unit’s label is acceptable.

Electric vehicle customers enrolling in the EVTOU rate for the first time may qualify for a 1-year price guarantee. To verify eligibility, please upload:

• A copy of your EV registration document (not window sticker) associated with your Con Edison account address.

If the address on your registration does not match the address of your Con Edison account, also provide:

• Photo(s) of your EV charging at the registered Con Edison account address, including your house number in a photo.
